I will also present the Presidential Awards at that time. Parents are welcome to come that day.
Dismissal is at 12:30 p.m.

Step Up Day -June 6
On Monday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. we will have our annual Step Up Day. Each class will go to the next year’s grade level homeroom teacher’s classroom. At that time expectations and supplies will be discussed with the incoming class. The teacher will also explain requirements for the Summer Reading assignment.

Free Dress Day June Ist Wednesday
Tomorrow, June 1, 2011 our sixth grade class will have a Free Dress Day because we had 100% participation in the Annual Appeal collection. Please follow the guidelines in the Parent/Student Handbook.

Memorial Day Holiday
For the Memorial Day holiday there will be NO school on Friday, May 27 and Monday May 30, 2011. Thursday is a full school day with our regular dismissal time of 3:00 p.m. Have a wonderful weekend! See you on Tuesday, May 31!

May Crowning Mass and 6th Grade Retreat
This Wednesday, May 25, 2011 we will have a special Mass to honor our Blessed Mother. The crowning of Mary will be done by our eighth grade graduating class with a special procession including the second grade First Eucharist class at 10:30 a.m. at the church. We will walk over with our first grade buddies shortly after math class. Also, we have our Retreat at the Parish Hall that day following the Mass.

Spring Festival May 22
On Sunday, May 22, 2011 Good Shepherd School will have its annual Spring Festival from 11:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. – “Let the Games Begin” . Please come and join us! This will be a fun-filled event with games, rides, silent auction, music, dancing, great food and so much more! Our school families have been working so hard to bring this event to our school. Hope to see you there!

Crusader Day May 10
Crusader Day is coming next week on Tuesday , May 10, 2011. Please make sure that your child has turned in their order for the In-N-Out lunch. This is due on Friday, May 6. The forms were given to the students yesterday. This will be a fun-filled day with line dancing, teacher trivia and a volleyball game with the teachers vs. 8th grade! Students may wear their Spirit shirts that day.
